IBN AL' ARABI –“The cosmos is His form. The forms of the Cosmos are the manifest Reality, He being the manifest. He is also their inner essence, being also the  unmanifest. He is the first, since He was when they were not, and also the Last, since in their manifestation He is the Essence.”   

IBN AL-FARID –“Yield not to weaknesses that let the hour/ Of duty pass. Though thou art palsied, walk,/ And rise, though thou be broken; for thy lot/ Is worthlessness, if thou defer resolve/ Unto the day of health.”   

IBN EL-ARABI-“My heart is capable of every form/A cloister for the monk a temple for idols, a pasture for gazelles, a votary’s Ka’ba the tables of the torah, the Quran/ wherever turn his camels, love is still my creed and faith.”

IBN OMAR –“When you pass the evening, do not expect the morning, and when you pass the morning, do not expect the evening, and take from your health for your sickness, and from your life for your death.”

IBNAL-'ARABI –“All that is left to us by tradition is mere words. It is up to us to find out what they mean.”

IBN'ATA'ALLAH –“Invoking the letters of God's Name without presence of mind is invocation of the tongue; invoking with presence of mind is invocation of the heart; and invoking with an absence of self-awareness because of absorption in the Invoked is the invocation of the Self—this is the hidden invocation!”  

IMAM ALL IBN AL-HUSAYN –“0 God,/ give lis water through rain,/ helping, productive, fertilising, widespread, plentiful, abundant,/bringing back the risen, restoring the broken!” 

IMAM ALL IBN AL-HUSAYN –“0 God,/ give us water with a watering through which Thou wilt/ make the stone hills pour./fill the cisterns,/ flood the rivers, make the trees grow,/bring down prices in the lands,/ invigorate the beasts and the creatures,/ perfect for us the agreeable things of provision, make grow for us the fields,/let flow for us the teats, and add for us strength to our strength!” 

IMAM ALL IBN AL-HUSAYN –“0 God,/ water us with rain, unfold upon us Thy mercy/ through Thy copious rain from the driven clouds,/ so that Thy goodly earth may grow/ on all horizons! Show kindness to Thy servants/ through the ripening of the fruit, revive Thy land/ through the blossoming of the flowers, and let Thy angels — the noble scribes —be witness to a beneficial watering from Thee/ lasting in its abundance,/ plenty in its flow,/ heavy quick, soon, through which Thou revives what has vanished, bringest forth what is coming,/ and provides! plentiful foods, through heaped up, wholesome, productive clouds,/ in reverberating layers, the rain's downpour/ not without cease, the lightning's flashes/ not without fruit!” 

IMAM GHAZALI –“Every breath of life is a precious jewel which can buy eternal treasures. Wasting these breaths or using them for detrimental purposes is such a great loss.”

The guards, filled with confusion, bowed their heads, saying: It is we doing the rounds in search. He said: What seek you? Our camels, said they. He said: Whoever searched for camels on a housetop? They said: We follow thy example, you who seekest union with God, while sitting on a throne.”

JALALUDDIN RUMI –“The satiated man and the hungry one do not see the same thing when they look upon a loaf of bread.”

QUR’AN (Saniyasnain Khan)- When believes become angry, they forgive. They do not behave as if they do not behave as if they are better then others and they do not complain. Believers do not feel hatred or jealousy. They pardon those who harm them.”

QUR’AN- “But if the enemy inclines towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust In God: for he is the One that hearth and knoweth (All things.) Should they intend to deceive thee- verily God Sufficeth thee: he it is that hath strengthened thee with his aid and with (the company of) The Believers.”

QUR’AN- “God is light (nur) of the heavens and the earth; The likeness of His light is as a niche wherein is a lamp- (the lamp in a glass, the glass as is were a glittering star)—kindled from a blessed tree, an olive that is neither of the East nor of the West, whose oil well nigh would shine, even if no fire touched it; Light upon light: (God guides to His light whom He will.”

QUR’AN –“Keep the tie of marriage sacred, but when it must be dissolved, use all precautions to ensure justice to the weaker party …”

QUR’AN –“No one in heaven or on the earth knows the Unseen save God; and they know not when they will be raised. Does human knowledge extend to the hereafter? No, for they are in doubt concerning it. No, for they cannot see it.”  

QUR’AN -“Restrain yourself with those that call upon their Lord at morning and evening, desiring His countenance, and let not your eyes turn away from them, desiring the adornments of the present life; and obey not him whose heart we have made neglectful of our remembrance so that, he follows his own lust, and his affair has become all excess.” 

QUR’AN –“Shall I choose for a protecting friend other than Allah, the Originator of the heavens and the earth?”

QUR’AN –“Take not life, which God has made sacred.”      

QUR’AN –“The life of this world is but comfort of illusion.”

QUR’AN –“You who believe! Intoxicants and gambling...are an abomination — of Satan's handiwork: eschew such that you may prosper. Satan's plan is to stir up enmity and hatred among you by means of liquor and gambling, and to hinder you from the remembrance of God and from a prayer, Will you not then abstain?”

QURAN – “Let nor hatred cause you to swerve from justice. Be just, for it is closest to piety.”

QUR'AN –“(it will be said to the pious): 0 (you) the one in (complete) rest and satisfaction! Come back to your Lord, —well-pleased (yourself) and well-pleasing unto him! Enter you, then, among My honoured slaves, And enter you My Paradise!”   

QUR'AN –“0 mankind! We created you from a single pair of a male and a female and made you into nations and tribes, that you might know each other (not that you might despise each other). Verily the most honour- ed among you in the sight of God is he who is the most righteous.”

QUR'AN –“0 mankind! We created you from a single soul, male and female, and made you into nations and tribes, so that you may come to know one another. Truly, the most honoured of you in God's sight is the greatest of you in piety. God is All-Knowing, All-Aware.”  

QUR'AN –“0 ye who believe You have charge over your own souls.”
